The Rhenus Group is running: Together for a good cause

With the Rhenus Run Club - Charity 2023, for the first time we want to organize an event for all Rhenus employees across the world. The goal is to do something good together, for ourselves and for our environment. Over a period of one week, 18.09. - 22.09.2023, we want to collect as many kilometers as possible using our feet. Together with all our colleagues worldwide, we at the Rhenus Group want to create a healthy and sustainable mindset in our working environment. As one of many projects to follow, the "Health & Safety" team and the "Human Resources" department have therefore launched the Rhenus Run Club.

We want to encourage all our employees to lace up their running shoes for a good cause and run, walk or hike as much and as far as possible during this period. Whether it is the morning jog or walk, the joint Rhenus running event or your hiking group with friends and colleagues in the evening. For every kilometre achieved, Rhenus will donate to CARE International and on top of that YOU can support CAREs work personally when you donate here

How does CARE help?

Eine CARE-Helferin gibt einer Frau in Südsudan einen Sack mit Hilfsgütern

After disasters, local CARE-Teams provide those affected with essential relief supplies such as food, clean drinking water and hygiene items. At the same time, CARE teams set up temporary accommodation and sanitary facilities, distribute cash aid and provide emergency medical care, especially for pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers.

Where it makes sense, CARE work together with partner organizations. After acute disaster relief, CARE implements long-term measures that help those affected to rebuild their livelihoods. This includes financial help, psychosocial support and professional training for local people.
